On May 19, 2021 at 18:30 CEST, WIIS Italy will host its monthly networking happy hour event “A Conversation With”. This month, WIIS members will be able to meet Hajer Sharief, co-founder of Together We Build It and member of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network.
Hajer Sharief, is a 25 year-old human rights advocate that promotes the participation of women and youth in peacebuilding efforts in Libya. She was selected by the UN Secretary-General to serve as a member of the Advisory Group of Experts for the Progress Study on Youth, Peace and Security mandated by UNSCR 2250. Hajer is also one of the twelve UN Women Champions on Women, Peace, Security and Human Rights.
