WIIS Italy collaborates with international organisations and members of the civil society in promoting projects, seminars and events.

Numerous have been the activities conducted with NATO ranging from a study trip to its Headquarters in Brussels to the organisation of seminars. 

Furthermore, the associations works in close partnership with the diplomatic network in Italy conducting  networking activities as well as seminars and debates. 

WIIS Italy is part of the Working Group for the drafting and development of the Italian National Action Plan (NAP) on UN SCR 1325 headed by the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Human Rights (CIDU) of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. In 2018, in cooperation with Inclusive Security, WIIS Italy has organised a workshop aimed at promoting the development of a monitoring and evaluation strategy for the Italian 1325 NAP to support the work of the Working Group.

WIIS Italy also takes part in European and International initiatives such as Brussels Binder Beyond, a European network established to promote the participation of women at political debates and conferences.
